a slow sunday with yawn

If you know me, you’ll know that I unashamedly have a drawer full of pyjamas. Yep — I am that person that you can continue gifting pyjamas to every year and I will love it every time! It’s a small luxury that I think is worth investing in. A little disclaimer — whilst the ones in my drawer all match, they’re definitely not all as luxurious as one of the First Edition pairs from Yawn that I was lucky enough to get my hands on!

Thinking back to early to mid-2020 when we all turned into top-class bakers (remember the banana bread days?) or daily walkers, a lot was spoken about slowing down and taking the time to find joy in the mundane.

Fast forwarding two years…finding joy in the everyday is a habit I’ve maintained from the lockdown days. It also allowed me to express my creativity as I used photography to capture these everyday details, whether that be on my travels or just at home. And I’m always pleased to see when others share theirs with the hashtag #myeverydaydetails

For me, Sunday mornings are when I opt for a lazier start, spend a little extra time in bed and catch up on my latest Netflix faves. And this is all made cosier with a fresh pair of PJs.

The reason I teamed up with Yawn is because they share this same vision with me, specifically about how the “small details carried us through an unprecedented period of uncertainty and unpredictability”. There are lots of little details that make their pyjamas a loungewear staple — my personal favourite is the message inside the cuffs! For reference on sizing, I’m usually a UK 8 (for tops) or 10 (in bottoms) and I found Size S to come up a little big on me.

Thanks for reading. :)
