A Photo Diary from India: Delhi, Udaipur and Kerala

It’s been a long time since I last posted a photo diary. I took a trip to India last year and we travelled around from Delhi to Udaipur and then ended the trip in the lovely Kerala so these are some of my favourite photos from the trip.

It was a fairly simple route in terms of planning, but it gave a really good mix of completely different places across the country. We started in Delhi, exploring different parts of the city and adjusting to how busy and fast-paced everything felt (x10 compared to London), with a mix of street scenes, historic areas, and more modern parts of the city all blending together. From there we travelled to Udaipur, which felt like a big contrast, with a much slower pace and most of our time spent around the lakes, wandering through the streets and just taking in the scenery. After that we moved on to our last stop in Kerala, which felt completely different again, with a much greener landscape, quieter surroundings, and a generally more laid-back atmosphere compared to the other places we visited.

If you prefer to read or view my longer-form content on Substack, I’ve recently started sharing my posts over there too. You can subscribe so that any new (free!) posts land straight in your inbox as soon as they go live.

Anyway - here are some of my favourite photos from the trip.
